Chuck Thomas, MLIS

Chuck Thomas currently serves as the Dean of Library Services at Western Carolina University. He has worked in ten academic libraries over a period of nearly forty years, including eight years in support staff positions. He also spent five years as a senior grants program officer with the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, where part of his portfolio included funding innovative projects to increase diversity within the library workforce. In this current research project, his role as a member of the core project team is to coordinate complex activities and project evaluation.
