Elias Tzoc, is the Associate Dean for Teaching, Learning, and Research (TLR) at Clemson University Libraries. In the TLR division, he provides leadership for 30+ team members and together they support library services including information/digital literacy, data and research services, open educational resources, scholarly communications, digital scholarship, creative technologies, experiential learning, emerging technologies, and much more. Tzoc earned a master’s in information studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s in information systems management from Galileo University in Guatemala. He also graduated from the Library Leadership in a Digital Age Institute at Harvard University. Tzoc has published on digital scholarship, open access, institutional repositories, makerspaces, innovation, leadership, and experiential learning. He has also written successful grants to fund such services and initiatives.
